Liberty Oaks

Sitework Studios designed a master plan of single-family lots and attached townhomes for Liberty Oaks, a residential community in Candler, NC. The 20-acre site was thoroughly analyzed in an effort to preserve an existing mature oak hickory forest which included a specimen ‘Liberty Oak’ that is more than 250 years old. To create a safe walkable community, neighborhood streets with traditional sidewalks and lighting were proposed, along with a series of pocket parks. Construction began in 2016.
