Mountain Area Health Education Center (MAHEC)

Sitework Studios has collaborated with MAHEC and LS3P Architects for more than a decade to develop and design their new educational campus in Biltmore Forest. Following construction, the project site required extensive landscape interventions and reforestation to restore it back to its original wooded character. The design established a ‘mountain landscape’ theme using native vegetation and utilized the campus’ entry road as a site feature. Our services included site and landscape design, public presentations, and construction documents.

Phase IV of the project is currently underway.
