Mountaintop Residence

The client’s wish was to have a mountain retreat that felt like “Grandmother’s Home” with a timeless garden rich in texture and classic detail. As designers, our goal and challenge was to plan and layout the site and gardens to feel as though they had been in place for generations, while serving the needs and functions of a modern family.

The house is positioned at the end of a winding driveway, perched on top of a ridge that overlooks Whiteside Mountain. The extensive garden welcomes all, and is perfect for large gatherings of family and friends.
